Siri Assistant to stop working from Oct 15

The iPhone 4S did kill many expectations, but it also killed the free search app Siri Assistant. Since the announcement of the iPhone 4S, Siri was made exclusive to the iPhone 4S.

The Siri Assistant now tells people

I’ve been replaced! The new Siri is even smarter and better-looking than me, and waiting for you on the iPhone 4S. I’ll be leaving for home Oct. 15th.

Siri Assistant was pretty handy to find nearby restaurants, movies and other useful information on the go. The app could also handle tasks like email directions, requesting taxis, and placing dinner reservations.

So if you miss Siri, all you have to do is to buy a new iPhone 4S, as Siri would not be returning to anything less than that.
