Apple’s iPad apparently isn’t quite the success story its makers wanted it to be – recent figures from market research (and Apple”s stock price) show a definite downward trend.

The Wall Street Journal now reports the following:

Apple intends to stay “nimble” on pricing of the iPad, possibly lowering prices if the newly unveiled tablet device fails to gain traction among consumers.

As I cannot recall such statements about other products, it looks like someone at Apple is somehow feeling some kind of heat – anyone any guesses?
