AdMob’s latest Mobile Metrics Report features the iPhone. In specific, it looks at where iPhone users are located – the chart below shows that an overwhelming majority of iPhone users is sitting in northern America:

When it comes to breaking down the data on a country-by-country basis, we see that the United States account for 62%, with the device being the 2nd-most-popular handset overall. In almost all other countries in the top-10, the iPhone is the #1 device:

Finally, here’s a look at the top handsets for October:

While this data definitely is interesting, I am not sure what to make of it. The iPhone has been promoted heavily in Europe – I personally don’t think that more than 50% of all iPhone users sit in the United States…
