So far, Canadians who felt like an iPhone were limited to Rogers. This company isn’t necessarily a bad carrier, but choice is always good – which is why I am sure that quite a few of you will be delighted by the news below.

Neither Bell nor Telus would confirm that they would add the iPhone to their lineups. Apple also declined to comment. But people familiar with the matter said the two carriers would announce a working partnership with Apple as early as Tuesday or Wednesday and begin selling the device in time for the launch of their new network.

Actually, Rogers is widely considered to be a bad carrier by Canadians – but the same goes for Bell Canada and Telus, the only other players in the Canadian market.
And while we feel that there is too much collusion among the three when it comes to setting cell phone rates, we’re hopeful that either Bell or Telus will now break from the pack and try to undercut the others with lower iPhone ratres.
