Apple’s firmware contains loads of interesting things – the latest firmware’s manifest plist contains the sequence pictured on the left.
While this may just be a fluke or practical joke on Apple’s side, MacRumors has furthermore discovered that such a device is alive and kicking – as it visited an affiliate’s web site a few times and thus got tracked by the ad management solution.
Of course, browser IDs are very easy to take…so take this one with a grain of salt…
