Canalys on smartphones
Canalys just released its market share data for Q3. According to ElectronicsInfo, they claim that Apple now is the second-biggest manufacturer of smartphones.
The first place still is held by Symbian – the UIQ debacle and other market changes have reduced their market share by 21.5% down to just 46.6%. Apple is #2 with a share of 17.3; RIM and Microsoft follow with scores of 15.2 and 13.6%…
